Garowe police have arrested youth singer Sharmarke Abdinasir Mohamed Sharma Boy, who is believed to be responsible for a deadly car accident. Earlier in the day, a luxury car driven by Sharma Boy overturned in Burawadal, north of Garowe, killing a woman named Saido Jama Mire and injuring Abdi Nasir Shale.
Nugal Regional Police Commander Colonel Mohamed Jama Aden told a Somali Times reporter that the case would be investigated and an immediate response would be issued soon. Sharma Boy met the incident while he was in Garowe for a few days, where he went to perform.
