Somalia government bans coverage of the Al-Shabab terrorist group, but still has members in office

The Somalia government has banned coverage of Al-Shabab propaganda, limiting journalists from reporting on the terror group’s threats or plans.

The decision published this week includes a list of 10 news sites and one TV channel. This was shorter than a list the government had earlier stated of sources that included 40 websites still online and based around the world.

Somalia government does not have power to stop Al-Shabab terrorist group. Al-Shabab collect regular extortion businesses in the capital of Mogadishu they also collect tax from Aden Adde Airport even they collect 20% of the money when people sell their properties. They also take tax from the port of Mogadishu.

The statement instructed companies handling communication services to take part in promoting Somalia security.

Unfortunately, Somalia government, lead by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud has more than 7 members Al-Shabab terrorist group Somali spy chief Mahad Salad, Minister of Religion Mukthar Robow, founder of the Al-Shabab terrorist group.

The majority of the Al-Shabab terrorist group 97% is the Hawiye community according to sources told Somali Times.

”This order stopping the sites employed by the terrorists is based on Article 10 of Somalia’s provisional constitution that safeguards the social stability and integrity,” the statement issued October 6th affirmed, underlining that it emphasises respect for human rights.
