Somalia heads of regional administration are against the new Cabinet of Ministers

The heads of Somali regional governments are against the new Cabinet of Ministers of Somalia, which was appointed by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, according to sources say.

The heads of states who usually welcomed or congratulated the major political changes in the country, have so far remained silent on the appointment of the cabinet, which according to our information, is a sign of their dissatisfaction.

Various sources have said that the governors of the states are angry that ministers from their regions have not been appointed, while some have added that they have appointed men who are politically opposed to each other.

Ahmed Madobe and Ali Gudlawe criticized that no advice was given to the members representing their areas, while Said Deni, Ahmed Abdi Kariye and Lafta-Gareen added that high positions were given to politicians who could not see each other.
