Reliable sources told Somali Times newspaper that Sadia Samatar was behind the resignation of the deputy minister and had already sent it to corrupt President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Hamza Barre.

The Arab Salah community had a minister in the previous government, but since they now hold the position of the first deputy speaker of the People’s Assembly, they were given a deputy minister, as the position of the minister is given to other communities in the Fifth Community.
