Somalia President Farmajo and a delegation recently flew to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia




A delegation led by Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has left Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The purpose of President Farmajo’s visit to Ethiopia is to attend the 35th African Union Summit which opens tomorrow in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

The AU Summit will be attended by African leaders and other leaders, and will address the AU’s reform agenda, the implementation of the 2063 vision and the various challenges facing the continent.

“The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and a delegation led by him left today in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia to attend the 35th African Union Summit.




And other leaders, to discuss the reform of the African Union, the implementation of the AU Vision 2063 and the various challenges facing the Continent, including violence, poverty, food insecurity and COVID-19. A statement from the Office of the President of Somalia.

During his stay in Addis Ababa, President Farmajo is also scheduled to hold talks with African leaders as part of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa tomorrow.
