Somalia president Hassan Sheikh and his cronies removed the remains of deceased people’s graves from cemetery land donated by Moalim Nur in Mogadishu

There is a shocking incident in Taredisho area on the outskirts of Mogadishu, especially in the Moalim Nur cemetery, where the bodies buried 50 years ago are now leaving with their relatives, after unknown people destroyed the graves during the night.

This land was built 50 years ago by Sheikh Moalim Nur, and thousands of Somali souls were buried there, but this started in the year 2022 removed the remains of deceased people’s graves from cemetery land donated by Moalim Nur in Mogadishu.

“We came to see many people whose bodies were buried here a few years ago. The reason is that the people who owned this land said they want our land. Their relatives are there, they are very sad and crying for the bodies to be taken out and buried again, we wonder where humanity has gone, we wonder if there is no one who is doing something and talking about it,” said Ifrah Ahmed, daughter of a parent who is buried in Moalim Nur Cemetery.

Last year, the relatives of Sheikh Moalim Nur, who spoke to the media, said that this land is what their father gave them, and they will not return it.

“We from Moalim Nur have not come back to this land, we did not measure, let alone the legacy left by our father, we gave charity,” said one of the children of Sheikh Moalim Nur.

They also agreed that they had nothing to do with the destruction of the graves, and that the people involved will be caught and brought to justice.
