The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, and his delegation arrived in Garowe, capital of Puntland State of Somalia.
The President and his delegation welcomed the arrival of Gen. Mohamed Abshir, the governor of the Puntland State of Somalia, Mr Said Abdullahi Deni, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and other Federal and State Government officials.
Also, the President and his delegation greeted thousands of civilians in the streets of the city of Garowe, shaking the flag of the Federal Republic of Somalia, calling on the president to welcome the president and his delegation.
President Mohamed commended the people and the leadership of Puntland’s unity, praising the electoral process in Puntland. For his part, the governor of the Puntland State of Somalia Mr Said Abdullahi Dani thanked the President and all the delegates of the Federal Government for his invitation.
