The President of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, announced today for the first time that Somali spy chief Mahad Salad is involved in the bombings of Mogadishu and planted explosives in Mogadishu hotels.

It is the first time President Hassan Sheikh telling the truth, who spoke at the commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the establishment of the Somali Police Force, saying Somali spy chief Mahad Salad has links to Al-Shabab terrorist group.

Somalia spy chief Mahad Salad is currently being investigated with the help of foreign agencies. ”He is being pursued and one day he will be arrested,” Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud said.

The president’s statement related to this issue is the first of its kind to be called by the federal government, while in recent years there has been increasing suspicion of officials and security agencies entrusted with facilitating some of the bombings.

However, the president’s statement comes at a time when investigations are underway into the Al-Shabab attack in Villa Rosa, Hayatt Hotel and many assassinations committed by Somali spy chief Mahad Salad.
