Somalia puppet Said Abdullahi Deni and the UAE-based DP-World have agreed to transfer control of the port of Bosaso from B&O, which has been in control of the port for five years.

The management of the port has been handed over to an unnamed company, according to Puntland Ports Minister Ahmed Yassin Salah told Somali Times.

B&O has been accused of failing to reach an agreement on the Bosaso port to begin construction of the port, although this has affected the assassination of B&O CEO Paul Farmosa in Bosaso in February 2019.
