Somalia’s Deputy Minister of Information is a professional liar to the public

Somalia’s deputy minister is giving misinformation to the public about the Al-Shabab terrorist group saying 150, 70, 50 and 30 terrorists are killed everyday, which is untrue. Somalia Deputy Minister of Information gave an interview to outlet media keep to the public.

Minister Abdirahman Yusuf Aladdala said the weapons and vehicles presented by Al-Shabab are fake to confuse the people. He said that the weapons and vehicles were already captured by Al-Shabab, when Al-Shabab killed more then 145 soldiers of the Somali National Army trained in Eritrea according to Somali officials told Somali Times.

“It’s not their car anymore. And those pictures are no more. It is self-made. Why didn’t they talk about the weapons when they captured them? Why don’t we show the symbols of Masagawa to the people, I don’t know,” said Minister Aladdala.




Abdirahman Yusuf Aladdala also said that the number of soldiers killed in the Masagawa attack are 9 soldiers, but said that 150 Al-Shabaab fighters were killed, when in truth 145 Somali National Army soldiers were killed by Al-Shabab terrorists.

On the other hand, the Deputy Minister of Information said that the government has not stopped the war against Al-Shabab. He said they are still going and a lot of land has been liberated.
