Somalia’s Foreign Minister holds talks with UK Minister for Africa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of Somalia, Abdisaid Muse Ali, had a telephone conversation with the Minister for Africa in the United Kingdom, Ms. Vicky Ford.

Somalia’s foreign minister said they had discussed the matter with Ms. Vicky Ford. Strengthening cooperation based on cooperation, respect for the unity and sovereignty of the two countries.




“The two ministers focused on enhancing bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in the areas of politics, security, economy, development and regional affairs in the Horn of Africa,” a statement from the Somali foreign ministry said.

The British government yesterday announced $ 10 million in humanitarian assistance to Somalia, in response to the effects of the drought in Somalia.
