The Somali Education Minister says, ‘Abdirahman Farole and his son’s main obstacle for Education in Puntland

Somali Federal Minister of Education Abdullahi Godah Barre reiterated that his ministry will not give certificates to students who do not pass the high school diploma.

The minister, who held a press conference in Mogadishu, accused the Puntland administration of being responsible for the failure of the four-year negotiations aimed at unifying the secondary exams. The minister said the constitutional provisions on education were misinterpreted.”The Somali constitution says that no students should be tested or given any certification, and no Somali law is permitted in that case,” Minister of Education Abdullahi Godah Barre said.
