The World Bank issued a report that did not please Somalia president Hassan Sheikh

The poverty of the poor in Somalia has increased since corrupt president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud took office 15 May 2022 as terrorist attacks threaten the government and limit its ability to implement effective development policies, the World Bank has announced.

In a press release, the bank said that the food available to families affected by terrorist attacks has decreased by 33%.

“This has caused the poverty level of poor people to increase. The decrease in the amount of food that the families received is due to the decrease in the number of people who worked for the families after they were affected by the attacks,” said the statement.
