The United Arab Emirates government has refused to back Somalia’s presidential candidate Said Abdullahi Deni, who is in dire need of funding despite producing more than 40 lawmakers.

Deni had received an unexpected message from the UAE that he did not have financial support.

Somalia’s election this year is expected to be the most expensive, with some reports saying Farmajo has most MPs and more chance to be re-elected again Somalia president.

Warlord Said Deni’s trip to London was overshadowed by a reported welcome by the Puntland community, but the main purpose is Puntland community to ask financial support.

United Kingdom Border Agency should reject Warlord Said Deni’s entry visas because Said Deni has blood his hands and his mouth killing and injuring innocent civilians in the Bosaso War in December 2021.

Deni, meanwhile, is under pressure from Puntland politicians and intellectuals to resign or withdraw from Puntland governor.
