The governor declared that this land belonged to Italy, and now the embassy of that country has applied, and it wants to work in that land.

“As far as we know, Casa Italia belongs to Italy. The letter sent by the Italian embassy is that, so they asked to be vacated, so Casa Italia does not belong to anyone and there is no one,” said the governor.

The mayor of Mogadishu spoke about the accusation made against the family of President Hassan Sheikh who is said to be holding a plot in that land, and he denied it, pointing out that we want to confront the Somali community and their president.

“Relatives of the president, let’s not talk about anything, let’s make sure. I don’t like to be shouted at and insulted when I have a responsibility. I am determined to work,” added the Mayor of Mogadishu.

He also spoke about land grabbing in Gubadley area and Wahar-Adde neighborhood in Heliwaa district, saying that they are following the alarm raised in those areas, and he noted that anyone who complains will get justice in the judiciary.

“On the issue of industrial properties, each party is saying whatever they want, everyone who has the law should go to court, but shouting outside does not add any meaning,” Madale said again.

He also spoke about the area of the Sponge Factory near the Aden Adde airport, where the displaced people were also relocated.

The governor of the region announced that a letter was sent to the civil aviation agency, and at the same time it demanded that there could be a security risk there, and then he ordered the displacement of the displaced people and resettle them in another place but there is no land.

“We said that these people should be settled in a peaceful place, and that they should not be raised, that’s all, but the land was handed over, it was taken from us, that’s all,” he continued.
