Mr.Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman, elected new Speaker of the House of the PeopleThe first deputy speaker of the House of the People of the Sultan Abdisamad Sheikh Muudey announced the election results saying that MP Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdi Farah has won the new Speaker of the House of the People of Somalia after receiving the largest votes of 147 votes. The lawmaker Ibrahim Isaq Yarow received 118 votes.
“A total of 265 MPs, Ibrahim Isaq, 118, parliamentarian Mohamed Mursal received 147 votes, the chairman of the House of the People, Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdi Rahman,” said Mr. Muudey.
