Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has taken to Twitter to congratulate the new President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said he hoped the new Somalia’s President would work closely with both regional and regional interests.
The Ethiopian government was a close friend of former Somalia President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo.
