Ex Somali prime minister Omar says Ahmed Madobe one-year extension was silent from weak Hassan Sheikh government




The former prime minister of Somalia, Omar Abdirashid, has called for the one-year extension of the Kenyan puppet Jubaland governor Ahmed Madobe.

Omar Abdirashid said the Somali government of being silent on the involvement of governor Ahmed Madobe. He described it as a dangerous issue.

“If the federal government does not talk about what is happening in the states, its moral authority is lost. If Jubaland doesn’t talk about this, if Galmudug says we added it one-year extension, or if Puntland says we added it one-year extension, the government will later be wrong to say we rejected it,” Omar Abdirashid said.

Omar said the idea of ​​adding Jubaland is something that does not work in democracy. He also said that Ahmed Madobe is to blame for not doing anything during his long tenure as the Kenyan puppet of Jubaland.

The Jubaland parliament has recently added one year to Ahmed Madobe, and this was opposed by politicians and some of the parliament representatives from Jubaland.
