The Somali government is planning to form a new administration in Jubaland, after accusing Jubaland President Ahmed Madobe of working for the Kenyan government.

Somalia’s government said yesterday the Kenyan ambassador to leave and recalls its ambassador in Nairobi, Somalia’s government accused interference Kenyan in Somalia election, and the president of Jubaland in collaboration with the letters. ”The accusation comes a day after Ahmed Madobe said no elections could take place in Gedo region until the Somali government removes its forces and administrations from the region, which is not under Jubaland control.

Somali Times has now learned that the expulsion of the Kenyan ambassador and allegations that Ahmed Madobe is working in Kenya will be followed by the formation of a new administration, arguing that it will protect the country’s sovereignty and independence.

“The allegations of working in a foreign country are very serious and open the door for the government to take actions that it did not dare in the first place,” said a government official who asked not to be named. ”The new administration will then hold elections in the Jubaland region, as the federal government can no longer deal with an administration it accuses of collaborating with a foreign country, as planned.

According to sources Villa Somalia told Somali Times, it is also possible that the federal government will order Kenyan troops to leave the country.

All of this casts further doubt on the country’s ability to hold elections, and members of the opposition believe that all the tensions created by the federal government are an attempt by President Farmajo’s to prolong the rule.
