Nathan Mugisha, the deputy chief of operations of the Ugandan forces in Somalia, said that the Ugandan forces will continue to operate in Somalia, which he noted is part of the proposal after the African Union forces operation.

“Uganda will be here in any form,” he told reporters, adding that the Security Council asked them to stay in Somalia, and he said they accepted.
