Somali Times reports political analysts who already understand that the conference announced today in Dhusamareb will not yield any results. Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has issued five resolutions announcing a conference in Dhusamareb, which aims to resolve all issues related to the country’s elections.

The president announced that the conference would take place in Dhusamareb from February 1 to 3, 2021, and that political analysts saw the short time as unsatisfactory and out. First, they said this is something new to say at the beginning and at the end of the conference.

This is expected to resolve the issues of and to resolve the government not to apply the transitional period and the election. It has taken time for 3 days, before the scheduled time, so the authorities need to prepare a conference talking about President Farmajo’s extension by 2 years in office, being well planned. It seems that some people with the conference is not expected to find a solution.

The intervention of the international community, the electoral process and the country’s transition has resulted in the failure of Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble to fulfill his role.
