The Democratic Party of Djibouti, an opposition party based in Djibouti, said it has learned that the Hargeisa SNM militia has arrived in Djibouti. A press release opposition said that the officials who went to Djibouti were carrying a message from SNM militia leader Muse Bihi.

The opposition of Djibouti said that the SNM militia leader Muse Bihi asked President Ismail Omar Guelleh for the support of the Republic of Djibouti. This support is about the wars between the SNM militia and those from the SSC Sool region Somalia.

Djibouti’s opposition said Djibouti’s president, Ismail Omar Guelleh, of allowing direct military support to SNM militia forces fighting in the city of Las Anod in the Sool region Somalia.

“Since the end of January 2023 and since the beginning of direct confrontations in Las Anod, the President of Djibouti has been interfering in the internal affairs of Somalia under the pretext of working for peace,” said the statement of the Djibouti opposition.

Dictator Ismail Omar Guelleh has violated Article 2 of the United Nations Charter, which states that the United Nations does not allow interference in the internal governance of any government” unless there are serious threats to international peace,” said the opposition of Djibouti.

The Democratic Party of Djibouti called on the dictator of Djibouti to respect Somalia.
