Mogadishu Mayor speaks with Turkish ambassador for support and development in Benadir region

Mogadishu – The Mayor Abdirahman Omar Osman of Mogadishu, today met with Turkish Ambassador to Somalia H.E. Oligan  Baker, who discussed the importance of strengthening the support of the Somali people, especially the development of Benadir region.

Mayor first thanked the Turkish ambassador to Somalia and said that the relationship between the two countries is a clear example of non-conforming support. He pointed out that the people of Mogadishu are deeply grateful for the support of Turkey’s brotherhood.

“Our relationship with Turkey is of particular importance to Somalia to recover and achieve stability and prosperity, and it is also important for the two countries to collaborate on the rehabilitation of services “he said Mayor .
Turkish Ambassador to Somalia H.E. Oligan  Baker said he will continue to support the Somali people, saying he is working with the new administration in Benadir region for the reconstruction and development of the capital.
