Paranoid Ethiopia’s PM greed for land and sea Federal Republic of Somalia has shown the strong feelings of the Somali people

“The agreement of Ethiopia’s greed for land and sea in the Federal Republic of Somalia has shown the strong feelings of the Somali people, and it is worth not to underestimate the danger that will arise if the independence and unity of our country is violated,” said former President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo.

In the following paragraphs, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo adds, “This agreement violates the laws of the country and the international and African Union regulations, and is harmful to the unity and stability of the countries in the region, so it is declared that everyone involved in the agreement will go down in history and take responsibility for the consequences.

It is called on the Ethiopian government to refrain from this greed that undermines the agreements of social integration and cooperation at the regional level, which was the foundation for the protection of the independence and sovereignty of the peoples of the region, in accordance with the specific rules of each country and international laws.

It is called on the members of the two Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia to stand fast in the performance of their national duties regarding the violation of the independence and sovereignty of our country, reminding of the victory we have achieved in the maritime case between Somalia and Kenya which was the basis of the resolution of succession.

The President of the Republic, Mr. Hassan Sheikh is responsible for protecting the territorial, maritime and national unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the fateful decisions and national actions worthy of our future generations will be respected.

We call on the Somali people, the public and the authorities to unite for this serious issue, putting aside our differences and disagreements. Let’s unite to protect our sea, our land and our nation.”

This statement is from 9th President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo.
