According to sources from Nairobi news. A woman who had been tied in a car lead police to an apartment where the Dutch national was found dead. Police are hunting for a gang in Sahnzu, Mombasa that killed a Dutch national and his security guard.

Herman Rouwenhorst and the watchman identified as Evans were murdered at his Shanzu home and his wife left nursing injuries. After police responded to a distress call by the woman identified as Riziki Chereno who was tied in her car, his body was found in his apartment.

Cherono told police she was driven in her car to the said place from the apartment she shared with the Dutch national. This incident comes three days after the body of Krabbe Dieter Gunther, a German national was found in a hotel in Mombasa. Gunther’s body was found just two days after that of his girlfriend Cynthia Akinyi was found wrapped in a bedsheet in Mtwapa.

Police are pursuing leads that a woman is behind both deaths dismissing the initial insinuations that the two deaths were a murder-suicide case. In the preliminary report, Kilifi County Commander Nelson Taliti disclosed that evidence showed that Gunther had quarrelled with his girlfriend.

“The man had a fight with the woman in their house on Wednesday night. He killed her and then ran away. His body was found at around 6 am on Saturday by members of the public, who then alerted the police,”
