Presidential candidates oppose election commissions appointed by Farmajo.

Some Somali presidential candidates, including former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire, have opposed the commissions in charge of electing members of Somalia’s lower house of parliament.

Candidates said President Farmajo and Prime Minister Roble of filling the list of individuals from the presidency, NISA and presidential supporters. They said the process of selecting these commissions was against the independence of the upcoming elections and that the president wanted to field elected members of parliament.

Mohamed Abdullah Farmajo is playing dirty politics. Candidates said Somalia need a fair election in what is different between dictator Mohamed Siad Barre and Farmajo. There is no different. Mohamed Farmajo is on of the children in which Siad Barre used to call them Kacaanka children.
