Prime Minister Roble issued a statement after meeting with a Wadajir party leader.

The new Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, addressed a special meeting with Abdirahman Abdishakur in his office today.

Roble said in a statement that he, the leader of the Wadajir party, had discussed a number of issues, including the 2020/2021 elections. “We had an important meeting today with the leader of the Wadajir party and we discussed many issues, the first of which is to hold a timely election,” he said.

He also noted that his office is always open to all political stakeholders in the country, to consult by-election issues. “My office is open 24 hours a day to welcome political stakeholders,” added Mohamed Hussein Roble.



Meanwhile, the new Prime Minister of the country today received the President of the Jubaland state of Somalia who is currently in Mogadishu.

Prime Minister and President Ahmed Roble said the meeting focused on joint collaboration country through the transition period and the election to take place as planned. However, the Prime Minister gave a vote of confidence in the council’s efforts to meet strong and consultations, as it poses a very difficult first choice with ‘2020/2021’s.
