Mogadishu HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad received a courtesy call from the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia HE Mr. Olgan Bekar, and discussed with him bilateral relations and cooperation.
The Foreign Minister expressed pleasure at the good bilateral relations between the two countries and the rising trend in the cooperation, along with his confidence to continue the intensive activities aimed at further enhancing the all-round cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Awad took pride in deep-rooted fraternal relations binding the two brotherly countries and peoples as well as steadily-growing cooperation in all fields.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, including economic, trade and security issues. The foreign minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to enhance its bilateral relations with Turkey for the mutual benefit of both countries.
