Somali MPs adopted an urgent motion against the president and the spy chief

Members of the Somali People’s Assembly today succeeded in passing an urgent motion on the state of the country, especially the general security of the country which is currently at its worst, against the president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud and the spy chief serial killer Mahad Salad who is a member of Al-Shabab terrorist group and behind many assassinations, sending Al-Shabab suicide bombing squad to Mogadishu hotels.




As many as 122 MPs have signed this motion, who argue that it is important to talk about the security of the country, as the situation in the country is going through a dangerous phase.

The meeting’s agenda was all the MPs unanimously agreed to include the discussion of this motion on the agenda of the meeting, which was submitted by some members of the Assembly.

As many as 122 MPs agreed to the motion, who voted for it to be debated, and 1 member refused, and there was no silence, as announced by the committee.

Some of the MPs who spoke at the meeting expressed their complaints about the behavior of the security forces of the Somali government.

According to sources told Somali Times, Somalia president Hassan Sheikh and spy chief Mahad Salad had a falling out, sources close to the presidency told Somali Times Hassan Sheikh does no longer trust serial killer Mahad Salad.
