Mogadishu – Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire on Thursday sacked the country’s Education Minister, Mr Abdirahman Dahir Osman. Prime Minister Khaire in a decree said the dismissal took immediate effect and that the state minister for Education, Abdirahman Mohamud Abdulle Jabir will take over until the appointment of the new minister. Mr Osman who on Wednesday released 2017-2018 secondary examination results.
Early this month, Prime Minister Khaire has sent home the minister of Religious Affairs and endowment amid a dispute over the Hajj service among the private airlines and the government.
