Somalia army killed Al-Shabab spokesman Ali Dhere

The radio station of the Somali National Army, SNA Radio said that the spokesman of the Al-Shabab terrorist group, Ali Dhere, died of injuries sustained in a battle independently media verify this claim.

A statement posted last night on the radio’s Facebook page said, “Important information that SNA Radio has received from a reliable source says that the spokesman of Al-Shabab terrorists, Ali Dhere, died last Sunday at 04:30 pm. Adan Yabal district in the Middle Shabelle region.




The statement added that Ali Dhere was recently hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of a battle between the armed forces and the people of Hiran for the liberation of Hiran with Al-Shabab in El-Qoxle area of Hiraan region, last Thursday, September 29, 2022.

If there is something like what the Army Radio said, it is worth asking why the government officials are not talking about this.




When a senior member of the Al-Shabab terrorist group is killed, the federal government often issues official statements through the Ministry of Information.

On Monday, the group’s co-founder Abdullahi Nadir was killed in an operation by the national forces in collaboration with international partner forces in the Haramka area in the Middle Juba region on October 1.
