Somalia companies are expected to sign an agreement on oil drilling

Somalia companies are expected to sign an agreement on oil drilling in Somalia today at Villa Somalia, with a meeting to be held at the Somali presidential palace, according to our sources inside Villa Somalia. The agreement will be jointly signed by the Federal Government of Somalia and oil companies, and will be attended by the presidents of Galmudug and South West, Ahmed Qoor Qoor and Abdiaziz Lafta-Gareen.




Because the president decided that the oil reserves to be paid in order in the coastal districts of Hobyo residents, under the central and southwest. The environment is one of the many parts of Somalia, including the first exploration made, which are suspected to contain oil.

Our sources also say that the two companies signing up for oil in Somalia are Coastline Exploration Petroleum, formerly known as Soma Oil and Gas.

This comes as the Union of Presidential Candidates warned yesterday of the dangers of secret deals to pay for Somalia’s oil.
