Somalia corrupt lawmakers prepare to elect President

The latest reports from the Somali presidential election campaign say that the payment of candidates’ to bribes lawmakers has been going on since late last night.

According to our sources, the campaign center for presidential candidate Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Hassan Ali Khaire was the first to be paid, followed by most of the other candidates.

Candidates pay between $60000 and $70000, depending on the size of the councilor and the degree to which he or she can help the candidate add other members.

Reports say Mohamed Farmajo have not yet paid. Villa Somalia is expected to pay $100000 per MP, which will be the lowest amount compare to Hassan Ali Khaire $200000 ever paid for a parliamentary vote, and it is difficult to find a candidate who can pay the same amount.

The race is still led by Mohamed Farmajo, Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Hassan Ali Khaire.

According to our sources, Mohamed Farmajo and Sheikh Sharif are likely to face each other in the last round of elections, if nothing changes in the last few hours. It is also unlikely that there will be a surprise in the election, with unexpected members arriving in good spirits.
