Somalia, Egypt sign three agreements on enhanced ties





Somali Federal Government Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Ahmed Issa Awad, with Egyptian Foreign Minister Shoukry in Cairo on Thursday.

The dialogue is focused mainly on brotherly relations and cooperation between Somalia and Egypt and the way to strengthen and develop a region that serves the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly nations, and has shared their perception of events and progress in the region and the world.

Following the extensive dialogue, the signing of a three-point agreement was signed, including the establishment of a political dialogue between the two foreign ministers, the establishment of a joint committee led by the two foreign ministers and the co-operation of the two diplomatic studies in Somalia and Egypt.
