Mogadishu – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mr Ahmed Issa Awad has received his office in the European Union Special Representative for Somalia, Dr Fulgencio Garrido Ruiz.
Mr Ahmed Issa Awad, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG), addressed the two sides, including the latest developments in the world and the region, and the strengthening of relations between the EU and Somalia. The EU is one of the most important donors in Somalia and has a huge role to play in consolidating stability and development in Somalia.
