The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, has issued a decree abolishing the committees of the Somali Judicial Service Council and the fight against corruption, which were two committees that were established or operated by the former government of President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.

President Hassan Sheikh justified the abolition of these two committees by referring to a letter from the Upper House which stated that the members of the Judicial Service Council and the members of the Anti-Corruption Commission were not to be appointed. according to the constitution and regulations.
