The Federal Parliament of the Republic of Somalia passed the budget of 2026 with following Expenditures and Revenues.

Expenditures

• Recurrent / operating expenditure: $700 million (51%).
• Capital expenditure: $674 million (49%).

Revenues

Total revenue and grants were projected of $1.30 billion

• Domestic revenue: $470.6 million (36%).
• Tax revenue: $336.6 million.
• Non-tax / other revenue: $134 million.

• External grants (donor support): $828 million (64%).
• Budget support: $154 million.
• Project support: $674 million.




The incompetent Minister of Finance, Bihi Iman Egeh, confirmed today that there is a $600,000,000 budget shortfall.

The Treasury Single Account (TSA) is already in the RED. The money for the rest of the year is gone.




From August to December 2026

•The Somali National Army will NOT be paid.
•Civil servants will NOT be paid.
•Members of Parliament will NOT be paid.
•Public services will SHUT DOWN.

SNA soldiers, already crushed by inflation, and their families, who are already evicted by former President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud from their houses, will face an even more dire situation. As a result, this will affect the security and stability of our nation.

This is the result of an incompetent Minister of Finance and years of looting and defrauding both domestic revenue and international taxpayer funds under former President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his inner circle.




An unpaid army plus a collapsed state equals a massive wave of human trafficking. This will have a direct impact on National Security of the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.

With a Treasury Single Account at ZERO and NO SALARIES being paid, the country is entering NEW DARK DAYS.




Former President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud must resign immediately before the crisis expands beyond Somalia’s borders.
