At least five people were killed and scores of others injured in a bomb attack in the Baidoa Saturday morning. Sources in the South West state capital told Somali Times the bomb may have been remotely detonated targeting a local revenue office.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. The attack happened hours earlier before a suicide bomber detonated a bomb at the revenue headquarters in Mogadishu port. Medical emergency provider Aamin Ambulance said at least seven people were injured. No group had claimed responsibility for the attack.
