Mogadishu-Foreign and International Affairs Minister for Somalia Mr. Ahmed Isse Awad Turkish ambassador to Somalia Mr. Olgan Bekar, discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The meeting at the Somali Foreign Ministry in Mogadishu was attended by the Turkish Government to provide support to Somalia.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, and also raised the issue of deepening ties between the two countries and strengthening the partnership of brotherhood. Mr. Olgan Bekar, has promised his Turkish counterpart to strengthen ties between the two sides, saying that his country will strengthen its role in supporting their support and assistance to their Somali brothers.
