Mogadishu – The Finance Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Abdirahman Duale Beyle, reports from the Ministry of Finance of the Year 2017 and the plans for 2018.
Minister Beyle held a press conference in his Office reported on the financial issues of the Ministry of Finance last year in 2017, and also discussed his plans for the new year 2018.
Minister said last year the ministry has been successful in the implementation of a transparent system to manage the costs of the government, and the payment of staff and military salaries.
The Finance Minister added that the Somali government is committed to the success of the system in forgive debts owed to them for success, he asked citizens to pay taxes that the only way the country can achieve self-sufficiency.
The minister finally spoke about tax deductions issued by the ministry, which he described as unfavorable for Businesses, and the government would support the country’s financial system.
