Somali Minister for Petroleum, Mr Abdirishid Mohamed Ahmed has suspended the permanent secretary of the ministry over the misconduct. misused public fund. In a press statement, the minister said Mr Jamal Qasim Mursal, the permanent secretary was suspended from the duty, pending the outcome of an investigation which conducted by the country’s labour ministry.
The Minister said Mr Mursal had disclosed classified information and acted beyond his authority. Mr Mursal was also accused of failing to cooperate with the minister in his work, The Permanent Secretary has commented on the misused public fund.
