Somalia’s Speaker of the People’s Assembly seeks funds from Saudi Arabia

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe and his delegation arrived in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to sources told the Somali Times speaker seeks funds from Saudi Arabia.

Somali politician seeks funds from middle east countries and western countries. Whatever funds they get is for their own interest, not for the government nor for the Somali people.

Speaker Adan Madobe, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will hold meetings with his country’s counterpart, Mr. Dr. Abdullahi bin Mohamed bin Ibrahim Aala Sheikh.

Adan Madobe and his Saudi counterpart discussed the relationship between the two parliaments of Somalia and Saudi Arabia, the cooperation and the traditional relationship between the two countries. He was also part of the meeting with the Deputy of the Shura Council and Members of the two Parliaments.

At the end of the meeting, the two speakers agreed to work and strengthen the relationship between the two parliaments, and it was agreed to establish a friendship committee to work on the implementation of these issues and the relationship between the two parliaments in Saudi Arabia and Somalia.
