Hargeisa, Nine foreign nationals from the United Arab Emirates has been arrested and detained in Hargeisa this morning. The Somaliland police arrested the mens who were trying to leave the airport on their way to the UAE and were arrested at Hargeisa airport. The UAE foreign nationals are accused of illegally hunting wildlife in Somaliland.
Residents of Sabo-Good district in the Marodi-Jeh region of Somaliland said the men were initially told they were carrying out projects, but were later found to be poached.
