SSC leader Khatumo called on the Somali federal government to not allow our fate to be tied to those living in Hargeisa

The leader of the SSC-Khatumo state Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw-Ali Fidhiye, called on the Federal Government of Somalia to give his region the right to be a Somali.

Leader Firdhiye said that the battle that took place in Las Anod was based on two views, a view of unity and a view of secession.

The leader said that his people and the region have been fighting for a long time not to divide the country, he said that the Somali people are required to defend and take over the protection of the unity of the country.

“Our political is Somali unity, i call on the leaders of the federal government not to deprive these people of their rights as citizens of the Somali nation. It will not happen that the fate of these people will be sacrificed to the people of northern Somalia Hargeisa,” said Leader Firdhiye.

Leader Firdhiye said Muse Bihi and his SNM militia are attacking Las Anod.

He sent his last call, saying that they will give a strong response to any invasion from Hargeisa administration.

I am making the last call to our neighbors, and we are saying, we have peace for you, we are not invading you, we are in our land and let yours be enough for you,” said the SSC leader.

The leader of SSC-Khatumo state said this at a meeting he held last night with members of parliament from both houses of parliament, who went on a trip to Las Anod yesterday.
