A meeting between federal, regional and Benadir leaders is still underway in Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug. The president of the Jubaland state of Somalia, Ahmed Madobe, has called on the people of the Gedo region to work for the peace and stability of the region.

Sources from Villa Somalia told Somali Times that Ahmed Madobe is working with the Kenyan government and foreign agents. Ahmed Madobe kept saying to President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo to remove the Somali National Army from Gedo, which means that Ahmed Madobe is working for Uhuru Kenyatta and foreign actors.

The conference leaders are meeting again in Dhusamareb today to continue the debate on how to resolve the political crisis in Somalia, one of the main issues before the election.
