The leaders of Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya arrived in Mogadishu

The presidents of Kenya, Ethiopia and dictator Djibouti are in Mogadishu today, participating in the summit meeting of the countries that have troops in Somalia.

The purpose of their arrival is to support the conflict between the Somali government and Al-Shabab and to help the foreign forces in Somalia participate.

The presidents are discussing how the challenge of Al-Shabab and their spread will not affect the countries of the region.

“It is important that the war on terrorism is not limited to Somalia. The countries of the region, including Somalia, have seen the importance of their security interests in the future, as the war on terrorism is now in short supply,” said the Minister of Information.

The minister said that at the end of this meeting, a major cooperation in the field of security will be announced, which means that the ATMIS forces will participate directly in the fight against Al-Shabab.

On the other hand, the main roads in Mogadishu were closed this morning due to the delegations arriving. The information minister said security agencies recommended this move after a security assessment.
