He also said that lawmakers claiming to have been elected in Garbaharey district do not have the certification of the Federal Indirect Election Implementation Committee, and that their election was not conducted by the State Indirect Election Implementation Committee.

Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo also called the two elections illegal and called for a national leadership conference to discuss the disputed seats. The 16 seats from the Gedo constituency were the final seats left to complete the 11th Parliament fake 16 lawmakers.
