Wanted man for human rights violations in Gedo Abdirashid Janan arrives in Mogadishu with Somali spy chief Fahad Yasin

Former Jubaland security minister Abdirashid Janan, who reached a preliminary agreement with the federal government a day ago, landed at the Mogadishu airport this afternoon.

The Wanted man for human rights violations in Gedo region was accompanied by the head of the National Security Agency Fahad Yasin and ministers from the Somali Federal Government who went to the Gedo region to welcome Abdirashid Janan.

Janan returned to Mogadishu more than a year ago after leaving a prison where he was accused of committing various crimes, and since then there has been a political battle between him and the Somali government.

But in the end, the conflict between the two sides came to an end, with Abdirashid Janan saying he gave up on the difficult circumstances facing people of the Gedo region and the importance of working together as a nation.

But on the other hand, the agreement has been criticized by the international community as well as the European Union, which has described it as a blow to the victims and those displaced by the conflict that involved Abdirashid Hassan Abdinur Janan, the last of the war earlier this year in the Beled-Hawo district.
