The Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, in a private meeting with the top leadership of his party, the Prosperity Party, published a secret recording on social media in which he spoke about his future leadership in the country.

Abiy Ahmed said in a recorded vote that he and his party would win the next election on the 21st of this month, otherwise there would be bloodshed. He also declared that no one could form a government for the next 10 years, and that he would remain in office.

“I feel a real connection with much concern us from politicians, groups and media who vote early to judge for themselves, and you want, wherever they are, are at hand, we are far,” he said. He added: “No one can form a government in the next 10 years. I am about to hand over power.”

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed also indicated he would run in the upcoming elections in Ethiopia, praising the working group. ”The election is taking place. The group we formed has worked hard. There will be death and bloodshed. However, I have no doubt that we have won the election, especially in an easy way,” Abiy Ahmed reiterated.

The vote, which poses a serious threat to Ethiopia’s democracy, has shaken Ethiopia, which in recent years has been embroiled in a bitter conflict in the north of the country, particularly in the Tigray region, where government forces have been reported.

However, the Ethiopian government is currently facing a difficult situation, with some ethnic tensions, as well as a war with the TPLF.
