President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble are moving further apart two weeks after a rift between them officially emerged.

The dispute erupted after Farmajo issued a decree that appeared to target Roble, stating that the government and government agencies have been barred from entering into agreements affecting the future of the country, national sovereignty, the country’s land, sea parks and trade with other countries during the elections.

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble responded to Mohamed Farmajo by saying that the country’s executive powers belonged to the government and had taken over at a critical time as Somalia was facing internal and external tensions, leading to the country’s near-collapse. and civil strife.

After arriving in Kenya, Roble indicated that the dispute had been resolved, saying in a meeting with the Somali community that ‘fools only knew where to fight.’

However, it now appears that the dispute has not yet been resolved, and is likely to worsen, as steps taken by Roble show the extent of the dispute with paranoid Mohamed Farmajo.

Prime Minister Roble was absent on Thursday evening from a dinner hosted by the outgoing president for Turkish officials in Mogadishu, marking the 10th anniversary of the co-operation between Somalia and Turkey.

Roble, who returned from a trip to Egypt on Thursday morning, declined to attend the ceremony, citing a dispute between the two officials. Also, Prime Minister Roble agreed to an electoral process pushed back by regional administration leaders at a conference in Mogadishu. In the process of electing members of parliament, state leaders delegated power to the election administration and took over from the federal election commission.

Prime Minister Roble, reportedly because of his fight with Mohamed Farmajo, allowed the process to target the executive powers of the federal election commission. Roble had already weakened the electoral commission by forming another office in his office to oversee the election finances, which was the job of the federal election commission.

Leaders in some states argued that the committee on federal and most are dependent on the president to resign, this is why they want federal empowering more to prevent Somalia’s corrupt vote of Parliament. Therefore, in order to target Farmajo, Roble agreed to this process, which would be a blow to Farmajo’s election plan.

These incidents highlight the deteriorating relationship between Farmajo and Roble, even as the country prepares to hold parliamentary elections, and this could affect Farmajo’s re-election hopes.

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble who bring first into politics was Somali spy chief Fahad Yasin who knew Roble was Fahad Yasin who gave him the chance to be the replacement of the former prime minister Hassan Khaire.

Prime Minister Roble does not have any experience or knowledge into Somali politics. Roble has been working for NGO all his life to get all his funding from the United Nations and a lot of Somalis are on NGO. That’s how they make dirty money.
